One night Wu Gang was lying in bed. Then suddenly a loud cry for help woke him up. He looked out of the window and found his neighbour's house was on fire. Wu Gang hurried to telephone 119 for help. Then he ran out at once. He saw many people trying to put out the fire with water, and he quickly joined in. After some time, the firefighters arrived, the big fire was out at last. Luckily, no house was destroyed by the fire and all the people were safe.

一天晚上吴刚躺在床上，突然一声呼救声叫醒了他。他朝窗外望去,发现他邻居的房子着火了。吴刚赶紧打电话给119求助，然后他立刻跑了出去。他看见许多人试图用水去扑灭火,他也迅速加入了灭火。过了一段时间以后,消防队员到达,大火了。幸运的是,房子没有毁于大火中,所有的人都是安全的。

竞赛开始了，我们两队一开始就互不相让，“斗”了几个回合，我们发挥超常，领先两分。“猛虎队”恼羞成怒，七嘴八舌的想下一回合拼命想把分挣回来，可是却竹篮打水一场空，反而比上局发挥更惨了，我们却像睡了个“回笼觉”一样，领先四分。所以说在关键时刻要沉着冷静，不能心浮气躁。

最后环节抢答，我们也不能掉以轻心，“猛虎队”说不定能把分扳回来呢？你看，“猛虎队”的队员们一个个跃跃欲试、摩拳擦掌，恨不得跟我们拼个“你死我活、鱼死网破”。这时，大家都拿出自己的看家本领，精神高度紧张。答题开始，在比赛中个个反应神速，你争我抢的回答问题，相互争得面红耳赤。抢答中我们队的'队员知识面广，相互配合的默契，敌队的队员在未答出来时，个个像泄了气的皮球，唉声叹气。激烈的竞争之后我们取得了胜利！这时下课铃声响起，敌队垂头丧气地说：“地上跑的还是不如天上飞的快，嘿嘿。”

这是一场有趣的比赛，让大家明白了，竞赛培养了团队的合作精神。
