托福口语25+必备条件:良好的阅读听力写作基础
一般来讲,如果托福考试中,阅读和听力成绩在20分以下,那么口语冲击到25+的可能性就不会太高了。而且其实如果阅读和听力成绩在20分以下,口语冲击到25+的必要性应该可也不会很大吧。
事实证明,独立写作能够拿到good的同学,口语拿good的可能性会更大一些。因为在写作考试中,时间较为宽裕的情况下都很难把语言组织明白的考生,很难在口语考试中做到条理通顺,有理有据。
所以在进行托福口语学习之前,先要打好其他几项的基础。
托福口语25+必备条件:较好的语音语调/清晰可懂
如果说阅读、听力、写作基础要达到"好"的标准才可以的话,那么语音语调只需要做到"比较好"就可以了。
ETS对于语音语调的要求一直暧昧不明。可以肯定的是,一个语音语调极其出色,直逼母语者的考生,在口语考试中一定是有着天然的优势的。
也就是说,在其他条件(阅读听力实力、答题思路、语言功底)都一样的情况下,语音语调更出色的考生,分数一定会更高一些,不过在口语高分段,这种差距最多也只是1-2分而已。
对于大部分中国考生来说,语音语调不需要、也不太可能做到如母语者一样,只需要做到清晰可懂,让考官能听懂你在说什么,也就可以了。
即使带有一定的中式口音,也没有关系。怕就怕很多考生因为对自己的语音语调不自信,因此在讲话的时候含糊不清,企图蒙混过关。
这种投机的做法是ETS考官最为反感的,自然很难在考试中取得25分以上的分数了。
