My father is an aircraft engineer.
最新5-8月雅思口语Part2话题范文:a kind of foreign food you have had
You should say:
When you had it
Where you ate it
What it was
and how did you feel about it
Ok then, I'm going to describe a foreign food I'd like to try, and when I was preparing what to say just now, the first dish that popped into my head was Indian curry, so that's what I've decided to talk about.
As for where you can get this dish, well, apart from obviously going to India to eat it, there are, as far as I know, a number of Indian restaurants dotted around my hometown which serve curry, although for some reason, I haven't got around to going to any yet; maybe it's because there are so many decent restaurants here in Hangzhou!
Anyway, moving on to how I know about this dish, well to be honest with you, I'm not all that sure how I got to know about Indian curry, but I guess it's kind of been a mixture of hearing about it from people, and reading about it in various books and magazines. In fact, I remember reading, only a few weeks ago, a review in the local paper about a recently-opened Indian curry house which apparently does really authentic Indian curry, so I can't wait to check it out sometime!
And finally, if there's still time, with regards to why I would like to try this dish, well thinking about it, I would say that one of the main reasons would be that I haven't actually tried it before, which I admit is a little surprising, seeing as most people my age have probably tried it at some stage or other. And as for other reasons, well I suppose I should also mention the fact that I'm a huge fan of spicy stuff, and if Thai curry is anything to go by, I reckon I would really like the taste of Indian curry, as I'm sure they're not that different.
So yeah, I guess that's pretty much everything there is to say, so thanks very much for listening.
最新5-8月雅思口语Part2话题范文:a book you want to read again
You should say:
What the book is about
Why you read it
What you learned from this book
And explain why you would like to read it again.
Ok, well after a bit of thought, I’ve decided that the book I’d like to talk about is one called Think Like DaVinci, as it's definitely a book I would like to read again at some point, for reasons I'll come on to shortly. But firstly though, with regard to what the book’s about, well in a nutshell, it basically explains how all of us have thecapability and potential to become a genius, like DaVinci. And it outlines a few various things that he used to do, which we can also get into the habit of doing. So essentially, it puts forward some ideas on how we can all live to our full potential. Anyway, as for what made me read it, well if my memory serves me correctly, I wasbrowsing around in my local bookshop one day, and the book's cover kind of just caught my eye when I saw the name DaVinci written in bold letters. So I read a few pages to see if it was any good, and ended up buying it.
I should also mention the fact that I'm quite a big fan of self-help books, because on the whole, I tend to learn quite a lot from them, and this book was definitely no exception. Just to give you an example, I would say I've learned to become much more observant after reading this book, such as generally paying more attention to everything around me. And in so doing, it’s made me appreciate things a lot more. Of course, there were a number of other things I learned, but nothing else is coming to mind right now, and that's really kind of why I want to read the book again, because I've forgotten a lot of it. So I kind of need to refresh my memory a little bit!

最新5-8月雅思口语Part2话题范文:a place crowded with people
You should say
Where it was
When you went there
What you did there
And explain why you went there / how you felt about the crowded place.
k, well the first place that came to mind when I saw this topic was the Beijing Metro, because I remember it being unbelievably crowded, so that’s what I’m gonna talk to you about.
And as for when I went there, well it was actually pretty recently, I suppose probably only about two or three weeks ago, so it’s still pretty fresh in my memory.
And regarding what I was doing there, well basically, I was on my way to see a friend who lives in Beijing, and she had told me that by far the best way to get around the city was using the subway, simply because the roads were so congested. So I took her advice, but it was a huge shock when I actually got into the subway station and saw just how many people there were. I mean, I knew that there would be a lot of people, but I never expected to see that many!
Although looking back on it now, I suppose what made it worse was the fact that I was travelling during rush hour, so it was a lot more crowded than I’m sure it would have been during off-peak times. And when I saw how packed the train was when it was pulling into the station, I remember thinking there was no way I was going to be able to get on. But I was in a bit of a hurry, coz I was actually already running late, so I had no choice really but to join the huge queue of people waiting. Anyway, I did somehow manage to make it onto the train, but I was pressed up against people on all sides, so it was pretty uncomfortable to say the least! I mean, it was absolutely heaving, and I literally couldn’t move at all!
Thankfully though, I didn’t have too far to travel, coz if I remember correctly, I was only on the train for about 4 stops. And when I finally got off, I remember feeling incredibly relieved, and also very grateful that I didn’t have to go through the same experience every day.
So yeah, I guess that’s pretty much all there is to say!
最新5-8月雅思口语Part2话题范文:a city you’ve visited that you like
You should say:
Where is it
When did you go there
What did you do their
And explain why you like it
Recently, I have visited Agra, in India, It's been a very beautiful place. I have gone to visit this place with my father who has some business meetings at there.
This place has many number of historic monuments built during reign of Mughal Era. In all places, I like Red Fort and Taj mahal very much. Taj mahal is considered as one of the seven wonders of the world. Its beauty is simply the best, completely inexplicable. Made in white marble and looks as same as from all four sides, very gigantic sculpture. while Red Fort is completely different. Inceptionally, I thought that it would be mere a giant castle. But inside the Fort there was a city inside with many places of market, theatre, food streets and kings' palaces. These all are worth visiting places. One can not find the way if he lost. Very distantly scattered all these places inside the Fort. So nobody can see in a single day. People of city are also very friendly and always endeavour to assist. They have great hospitality sense and I have really enjoyed, had taken many selfies and snaps with others and posted on my social sites and many people inquired about this place too. Just only drawback I found that has been dirt. People seemed not taking care seriously about maintaining cleanliness around such beautiful places. Later, I have heard that government has initiated towards that part; but overall felt a great experience.
